McLeod Farms has been family owned and operated since 1916. We specialize in fresh peaches, strawberries, blackberries, year round produce, row crops, gift baskets, jarred products, homemade bakery items, and family fun. We take pride in our century old farm and recognize the importance of growing high quality produce with sustainable agriculture practices. From our farm to your table, we take pleasure in providing fresh and homemade products to those customers both locally and nationally. The McLeods have been farming in McBee, SC since 1916. They operate one of the largest peach orchards in the area, with over 1000 acres in production. The McLeod family grows over 50 varieties of peaches on the sandy, loam soils of the Pee Dee area.

Kemp & Spencer McLeod (4th & 5th generation) are continuing the legacy by incorporating new technologies emphasizing precision ag techniques, increasing strawberry productions, and other innovations to improve the sustainability of the farm.

The father-son duo has also expanded the local Roadside Market located on Hwy 151 to not only sell our homegrown produce, but to also include a bakery, ice cream shop, and a space to host agritourism events.

We sometimes get asked about the difference between McLeod Farms and Mac’s Pride—and the answer is simple: we’re the same company! McLeod Farms is our family farm name, and Mac’s Pride is the brand name we use to sell and distribute our peaches. So whether you see McLeod Farms or Mac’s Pride, you can be assured it’s the same family, the same farm, and the same tradition of quality peaches you know and love.
